Pizzeria Palazzo Ristorante

I first ate at this restaurant in Köln-Mülheim about 10 years ago, since when it has doubled in size (by taking over the neighbouring premise) but the quality remains high. It is deservedly popular with locals, and deserves to be better known by tourists. Its speciality Iis probably pizzas, and one of my friends said his Pizza Italia was the best he had ever eaten. I went for the midweek special, Rigatoni Cardinale, which was delicious also. We sat at the back, outside, as the weather was hot, and drank Bavarian Weissbeer, followed by a grappa digestif. The staff are Italian, and very friendly. Note however that they do not take credit cards. Recommended.

J'adore manger ici, une bonne nourriture honnête et un personnel sympathique. Les pizzas sont excellentes, tout comme les salades d'entrées. Pas cher comme des chips! Si vous séjournez au Holiday Inn Express et que vous en avez assez de manger au Gilden Brauhaus tous les soirs, marchez un peu plus loin et ... offrez-vous un italien. Vous pouvez marcher sur le chemin du retour

Our favourite Italian restaurant in Cologne. Very Italian atmosphere, friendly and competent service, great Pizza. We particularly like the seasonal choices and the flexibility in toppings, plus: The value is unbeatable. On top, there's always a good wine available. The only thing you should avoid is seafood as you'll be served Surimi sticks instead of real crab.

Petit mais attrayant italien, avec de grandes pizzas croustillantes, d'énormes antipasti bon marché et du vin ouvert.
