Pizzeria Salerno - Réservation de table

General: On the way back from the Rheingau we have landed in the Pizzeria Salerno in Hochheim and were able to use our Schlemmerpass again. We once again had pleasure in Italian, it is a simple pizzeria that has met our taste. In the guest room where we had sat there were 5 6 tables, followed by a small room with tables. Everything is quite dark and rustic, the bulbs of the lamps were not all switched on or off. On the table there was a small vase with plastic flowers – dust collectors, which could also be omitted. The cutlery is delivered in a paper napkin, knives and forks had different handles but the knife had a good cutting capability. The workspace of the Pizza Baker Koch is separated...

Wir waren vor ein paar Tagen im Restaurant und haben dort gegessen.Der Salat war nicht zu empfehlen, die Portionen waren nicht besonders groß und die Pizza machte den Eindruck von einer Tiefkühlpizza. Für die Qualität sind die Preise sehr hoch. Auch das Restaurant könnte eine Sanierung vertragen. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

We had a coupon. We have heard good and poor reviews and decided to take our coupon and take our chances. Nice meal, good pasta, good pizza. Wine was surprisingly good for the relatively inexpensive price. We had a second coupon and went back. Not quite cheap eats, but better than average in the price range.

Man kann dort leider nicht mit EC Karte zahlen. Das hat mich persönlich in eine peinliche Situation gebracht. Since I lived RIGHT NEXT DOOR, I was somewhat of a regular customer. I especially loved their pasta dishes (ueberbacken mit Kaese) and the calzone. Some of my friends stopped over just to pick up salads because they were just that good absolutely delicious.

I used to eat here once a week back in 1994. 23 years later it's still as delicious as ever! Great food in a wonderful German vineyard village. An absolute must if you are in the Frankfurt area!
