Rediscovered Pizzetta 211 recently: when they first opened years ago, hubby I had eaten and enjoyed the pizza's. He commented on how thin crispy the crusts were; just like in Europe. We walked by and wanted to try it again. Put our names on the waiting list, as they were busy: all tables taken at 5:30pm! Its a small cozy storefront with small counter seating , 3-4 table inside with 4 tables outside that seat 2 people each. Started out with the special starter: large white beans, artichockes, red peppers(not spicy with panko croutons, with lemony zest vinegarette dsg. (YUM-O! Then, had fantastic pizzas: farm egg, asparagus, piscutto, guyere chees chives pizza and the rosemary, pinenuts fiore...
We happened to be in the East Bay and heading home to the Peninsula. So on the way home we called Pizzetta and ordered our pizzas for pickup. My daughter said that it was Excellent for pizza. She went there 8 years ago. She was RIGHT!!! AMAZING PIZZAS. Cooked to perfection, thin crust, and fresh ingredients.We ordered the egg pizza, the arugula and the Margherita. WOW!!! It was ready when we arrived. Thank you to your entire team for making such wonderful pizzas. We will be back!!
It's just perfect. You put your name down with a guy (Carlos) with a clip board and a phone hung on a tree. The place is tiny. Perfect little tables, occupied by local families. There's a great selection of beer. The service is lovely. The night we went there was the most amazing appetiser of tomatoes and french beans. And the pizzas are just perfect. Thin, beautiful flavours. Perfect. The feel of the place, the ambiance, the food, the surroundings. You don't need anything else.
This was a good find, and near to our B&B. It was really busy, but they squeezed us in. Its a very relaxing place, everyone seemed really chilled. The foods great, i had the artisan cheese salad, really delicious, my husband had a cheese, spicy sausage and lemon pizza, he'd never had a pizza like it before, and thoroughly enjoyed it, also shared some gorgeous chocolate cake. Really a good place to eat.

Husband and I went here for dinner tonight. Best. Pizza. We've. Ever. Had. Get the arugula and mascarpone pizza. Actually, get 2. And the olives plate. You won't regret it. They also have some great local beers. So happy we went here and hope we can go back before the end of our vaca.
Recently visited....Original and interesting combinations for Pizza....Pizza was superb....light but very tasty.....to die for desserts and a nice strong coffee to finish off a fantastic meal....highly recommend for any visitor to San Francisco
We were looking for parking in hope of gong for tacos the only spot we found was across the street from 211 the wait was only 10 minutes, yes. Pizza was delicious, cooked perfectly. Tried the meatball w/ peppers margherita, each was a winner.
Our second time dining at Pizzetta when visiting our daughters and definitely the best thin crispy pizza we’ve had. The different toppings and rotating pizzas are always so creative and never disappoints. Also don’t forget the daily starter!

Fantastic pizza!! Yummy fresh homemade desserts. Excellent coffee. Fantastic staff. If your in San Francisco you have to visit this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.
Best pizza I've ever tasted!!! Loved the dessert and They serve a real expresso. I loved this place.
