PK is a Southern Illinois icon. If you're looking for a diving bar, this is the place. They have a wide range of beers, locally, imported, handmade, also all kinds of spirits. They also have live music almost every weekend, maybe they have live music every weekend, I'm not sure, but their Instagram profile is always active posting who plays every night. They also serve lunch, I heard positive feedback, never tried. Of course they have the most popular attraction of Southern Illinois, slot machines! You also have a pool table. Make sure to get cash because it is a cash-only business. There is an ATM if you don't mind paying transaction fees.

This is exactly what you expect of a dive bar. Lots of townies. Affordable, unassuming drinks. Pool tables. An outdoor smoking section. Local bands on the weekend. And a does it for passion kitchen around lunch time. I personally don't visit as often as I'd like because they are cash only and I usually run tabs, but if I think ahead and have cash on me, this is the perfect place for an after-work drink or a weekend show.

PK's is my favorite bar in Southern Illinois. Friendly staff, stiff drinks, good people and a great location in Carbondale. Mom! Pang hosts breakfast and lunch during the weekdays. My personal favorite, the Italian beef!! It is juicy and absolutely delicious. My love got a delicious burger boiled medium rarely to our perfection. I only have a coke with lime. But their drinks are the best!!

It’s a dive bar that attracts a mix of all kinds of interesting people. It's no longer just the old biker bar it used to be. The place features five slot machines, a pool table, two pinball machines, and a foosball game. There’s also an outdoor seating area for smoking located in the alley. Réservez une table maintenant

Pks is truly one of a kind—there's really no other way to describe it. If you're in Carbondale, it's a must-visit! The bartenders are consistently friendly, and they have billiard tables and seating available.
