We visited every day of our holiday to buy bread, wonderful choice. We had coffee on a couple of occasions, really good, and the ice cream was superb. Didn't sample the cakes, but they looked perfect. Lovely outside area for eating and drinking, but also...good inside if the weather isn't favourable. The people who run this little boulangerie/café are welcoming and service is great. On our first visit the weather was very wet, and my husband had slipped and cut his hand just before we went in for coffee. Nous nous sommes arrêtés ici pour déjeuner en plein air sur le marché grâce à l'office de tourisme. C'est en première ligne une terrasse, donc pas de plats chauds disponibles, mais ils proposent une série de six différentes salades, que nous avons trouvées excellentes en terme de rapport qualité-prix... et ils proposent également des assiettes garnies ou des produits de la mer. Le personnel était sympathique et très serviable pour nos cheveux bouclés et les salades que nous avons choisi étaient énormes et savoureuses. Nous aurions pu opter pour l'un des tentants desserts, mais avons préféré une glace. fortement recommandé.

Nous étions en Euro-Camping près de Loix sur l'île de Ré. Le village de Loix est petit mais magnifique. Il y a un joyau dans la couronne et c'est sa boulangerie et son petit café. Ils proposent des plats pour emporter ou pour déjeuner. La sélection est limitée pour les plats copieux, mais excellente qualité. Les propriétaires sont adorables et leurs toilettes sont de standard hôtelier. Pour une famille, c'était tout simplement génial, un endroit propre, frais et abordable pour bien manger. Parfait pour le café et aussi pour une pause gourmande.

super friendly bakery coffeeshop with a lot of tasty homemade snacks. the chorizo tea with a green salad was amazing, but the quiches each fougasse also looked fab. wine with a carafe or bottle was as available as beer from the...fridge we visited in the mai on a windy but sunny day. in the height of the summer a shadow would be essential. the coffee was excellent. in any case somewhere to return to the next time, we drive from saint martin de ré

the “Pain” is simply brilliant. this is a very tourist friendly place. buy her brot here instead of ordering before place. they also offer an breakfast offer, and it feels so nice to sit outside and enjoy the world going over a croissant and a coffee. we used this place almost daily, and it was a very positive part of our France experience.
