Planet Sushi

Asian wife mixed daughter away from Asia for a while = Sushi craving.For sure it is far from the Sushi bars you would get in Asia, however given the circumstances this Sushi joint in Strasbourg is not bad: Dishes presentation is good, selection is acceptable and the person running the restaurant is very friendly and polite.It is not cheap, and I would have liked our Sushi plate to be made fresh and not taken out of a fridge with denatured a bit the good fishes used: It is not bad, but I prefer to trade time for the preparation against a quicker delivery.I would rate as GOOD the restaurant if it was available in between Average and Very Good, and offer a good sushi fix.

I need to stop visiting sushi bars, as they continuously disappoint in regards to freshness. I even decided to see how long the sushi would go round, by putting a piece of paper on the side of one of the dishes and see if it was still there when I left the restaurant. 1.5 hours later, the same dish was still circulating. Prices of food is way too high for what they provide. Lesson learned the hard way.

One of those modern minimalist places. We were probably above the upper age limits as the waiter did not pay too much attention to us. But we got more or less what we wanted and left.

Rice needed more vinegar. Soy sauce was weird, Ramen liquor was sweet and sticky, tuna was ok. Won't be coming back

Expensive and not good at all. The rice is not well cook and ingredients looks bad and not that fresh
