Platanenhof - Réservation de table

Wonderful homemade everything at this place. Even the spätzle was fresh and made in house. The menus are all handwritten each day/week, as the many constantly changes with the seasons. They've even got some local Basel-region wines that are worth trying out with your meal! This was a great find. Feels like dinner at a family member's home—totally authentic and highly recommended!

was never here but my daughter already and she was not satisfied about the portions of the bone mark too expensive. now tried and the food was good and plentiful. the service nice so everything in all good. we were there for a lunch. the problem at tripadvisor is that it has no level between satisfying and very good. it was good but not very good.

Pleasant evening in simple surroundings, simple and tasty home cooked food. Would go back if I'm in the area but wouldn't make the effort to travel out there specially. Waitresses insisted on speaking only Swiss German even though clearly I only understood high German !

one of my favourites since ages. charlotte is the chef and a institution (since 1991). the crew in the kitchen is young and cooks seasonal and terroir cuisine. allways worth to drop in.

The food was pretty overpriced compared to the size. The staff was friendly and took care of us but the food portion was extremely small.

Nice atmosphere, quite homely. We were a group of 27 but they managed well with quick and efficient service. Good food.

The outdoor seating area is lovely. I am a big bone marrow fan and was delighted to see it cut the long way. Réservez une table maintenant
