"We took our mum here for a pre-mother's day dinner. The service was excellent and the food divine. We had the green curry, the chicken and cashew stir fry, and one of the flat rice noodle stir fries. The meals were all large and we went away very satisfied. It only cost $44.20 for 3 of us."

This was a planned celebration booked two weeks in advance for 20 persons. A banquet was ordered & a side that curry puffs be exchanged for dim sims - this was confirmed by two different staff prior to the evening. You guessed it curry puffs were served without apology. Our greeting was poor, our continued service throughout the evening was non existent unless asked for service. The entrees did not arrive for an hour. Then, within 10 minutes of entrees been completed all mains come out in rapid succession with just one serving of rice. When more was requested the chef said that was all. Although tasty, there was a bland sameness in the flavor of three of the main meals. I attempted to post this complaint to their FB page for a response which has not occurred. They took a photo of some of the group & posted it to their page boasting that we had a great night. I then commented in response and now the post has been removed, including the photo. Obviously constructive criticism is not welcome.

We live locally so either get take aways or eat in at Platinum Thai every few months. The food is consistently good but the service by teenage boys is pretty ordinary. Not their fault, they're inexperienced and untrained. I'd prefer to eat in as food is better presented, hotter and feels like an experience but the noise, ordinary decor and average service here don't make it as special as it could and should be. I had the garlic and pepper moreton bay bugs last night and my husband had cashew nut snapper - both were excellent.

This is a local eatery with the owner and chef providing excellent dishes for many years since he first opened at the Red Edge Shopping Centre. Being a small restaurant, the kitchen can get rather noisy at peak eating times around 7pm. It is very popular for take aways. Generally, young kids provide service to the table. They are willing and eager, but patience is essential if there are a number of customers to serve.

We with another couple and tried a Banquet. Nice to try dishes I wouldn't normally order.Just very tasty interesting flavours. Australianised for our taste with a lack of spicy chilli but still very yummy. We'll be back. Only issue was a cold night with a drafty table position. Young girl waiting on our table was excellent.
