Plattduetsche Park

I have been working in the Franklin Square area for a LONG time and have always passed by Plattduetsche but never stopped by. Big mistake! I went to a retirement party that was being celebrated here and I was amazed by how big this place is and how wonderful it was. The layout with the sofas and firepits was cozy, friendly and peaceful. The food was good and the atmosphere was inviting. I noticed a band was setting up on the stage and the entire vibe was perfect. Staff seemed happy to be there which added to the overall presentation. It was a wonderful experience that I should have had earlier. My loss...but not anymore. I will definitely be back! Five Stars

Food was good but the hostess 's 'there were two ' that were a bit abrupt and felt it necessary to come to the table when my husband and I sat down for dinner to tell us that we could only be there for two hours. Trust me two hours is longer than we need but to be told that was off putting! Also after eating in the main dining room we wanted to go over to the beer garden and to be told that we have to pay another $5 just to get in after we paid for a meal in the main dining room is off-putting as well! Biergarten was great and the atmosphere was fun but yeah could have been a better experience

Love this place! If you like to embrace your German heritage, this is the place! Especially if you have the opportunity to attend the Annual Bavarian Festival. Fun time all around.....good food, beer and entertainment. My family will keep returning....it is a special place. A special shout out to the bartenders in the beer hall... Danielle, Derrick and Richie! All of them were very professional and super personable....they did a great job. Especially handling so many customers at once!

Food was ok. The pork shank was very dry. The side sauce helps. Service very slow. Wait almost 20 min to have the waiter to take the order. Parking is quite of unique. On a residential area 4 blocks from the entrance Réservez une table maintenant

I haven't been to Plattduetsche in years. I'm glad I had a craving for German food. I called in my takeout order, 20 minutes later, I picked up my order! This meal was Awesome! I definitely will be going back!

I attended a meeting and had an excellent dinner! I was excited that the park was open, featuring lounge sets and fire pits. I’m looking forward to the summer nights filled with music!

Fantastic time, but please secure your tables. Had one roll over on my friend and I. We lost two beers, had our clothes soaked, and staff did nothing to correct the issue.
