Everything was great except our server accidentally switched up our cards. Which caused a bizarre amount of chaos for a day until we figured it out. (Cards look similar). Bathrooms were clean, which is a big deal to me. Parking is vast. If your one of those wing nuts that parks at the end to get steps in, this is your joint! Server was friendly. No one else on the staff looked at us. There was a guy diligently cleaning the comically high windows. I love it when a place takes extra steps like that.Parking: If you can't find parking that place must have ZZ Top playing on the patio.
The food was great 50 cent wing Wednesday! But everyone had different things. We were a party of 14 and nobody said anything negative about their food. The service was okay. They forgot items off of our order and some orders all together. However there were 14 of us. Anywho, we were there sending our newlywed kids back to the army. T'was a great visit!
First time in, wanted to sit outside and have a beer. Got a table where we could see outside in th bar. Waited 20 minutes for a drink. Asked to sit outside, got moved. And NEVER GOT ANY MORE SERVICE. COMPLETELY IGNORED. talk to the table DIRECTLY NEXT TO US. MULTIPLE TIMES. NEVER AGAIN. Not worth it.
I absolutely love this place and make sure to eat here every time we visit Denver! For those with dietary restrictions, I'm gluten-free, and when you ask during ordering, they will guide you on what to choose. I tried the shrimp tacos, and they were delicious!

Platte River Bar and Grill is always a fun spot to eat, dance and just kick back. The patio in the summer is a blast with gorgeous sunsets. They always have a fun band on weekends. Food is good, drinks are good and great prices too! Highly recommend!
Fresh good tasting food the kitchen is excellent. Service was super friendly and there was a good positive vibe on the patio. Draft beer was fresh not old or dirty tasting. Will definitely come back.
As for parking, there are three to four different areas available, all with ample space. If you're driving a truck, I suggest using the back left area of the building for parking.
I always have a great time when the weather is nice and I can sit out on the deck. It does get busy, but the staff is very attentive and keeps everything running smoothly.
