I went to the Playa Bowls in Red Bank with my daughter yesterday evening around 5 and like many reviewers on here have mentioned, the staff there is unbearably rude. It started the minute we walked in. I accidentally pulled on the wrong door and it was locked so I mouthed to the girl at the counter, “are you closed?” The blond girl with the long hair, gestured at the other door, with no expression on her face and kind of seemed annoyed that we were there since she was on a phone call on her cell which was on speakerphone for all of us to hear. There was no hello, no smile as we approached the counter. She took our order and because we asked for extra granola on one bowl and no coconut on the...
I said three times and specifically said no coconut, or granola. And once I got my bowl it came out with both granola and coconut. I couldn’t eat granola and coconut so I wasted my $12 dollars. I gave it one more chance the next day and once again had the wrong items in my bowl that I requested.
Very rude staff. Wrote a review on our experience there last night on Google. I never like writing bad reviews but finally had to because this is a common occurrence each time we go in there. I live in town and love acai bowls but come on…fix this problem already. ???
I get a bowl or smoothie from here a couple times a month with my co-workers. Today my bowl was soup consistency and missing toppings. Most of the female employees attitudes are awful and not friendly always especially today. I’ll be going to Smoothie King.

While the Dragonberry Pitaya Bowl isn't my go to favorite, it's relatively low calorie compared to the açaí bowl, and it's tasty! I'd recommend to anyone looking for a lower calorie option but still tasty.
The Pura Vida Acai Bowl is my absolute favorite! I add extra granola and peanut butter. These bowls NEVER disappoint! They always prepare the bowls with love and I can tell in every bite!
This store always gets my order wrong when I do it online I paid 3$ extra to add Nutella and they didn't put it on. Bananas also came so mushy and overripe. Ridiculous. 20$ for a bowl.
