I came to the Rutherford location one day. On the website, it usually allows you to customize an order. And build your own smoothie. When I built my own smoothie, the staff did not listen to the instructions listed on the mobile order. I said “no bananas” they still put bananas in. I told her “I ordered the smoothie customized” she yelled at me and said “well you can’t just change up a whole order.” I explained to her “but on the playa bowls website, it allows their customers to pick what ingredients they want in their smoothie.” The young girl still continued to yell at me and using a very aggressive loud tone with me. I never went back there again. Something needs to be done about this location.
I love Playa Bowls. However, it's always a hit or miss, depending on who makes it. I don't like when I get a smoothie and I expect it to be a certain way and I'm disappointed as they aren't cheap. Watery smoothies and bowl bases are gross. ? Another thing I don't like about this location is the parking. They're now making you pay about $1.50 for a time frame or a trip that's gonna take 10 minutes. For that reason, I'll most likely not be going to this location unless I REALLY want a smoothie or bowl and don't want to go anywhere else. ?Parking: Too costly parking for the short time
Love this place but the staff really needs to change their attitude they way how are rushing you while you are ordering people need to be courteous and kind it doesn’t cost anything change your staff whoever the owner is fine people who care about your company and wants to work there I was there and the cashier was Asiya B and no spoons were given always in q rush
Since when did they ever leave the fruit cut into huge pieces? Unsatisfied with my order this time as I went to scoop a strawberry with my spoon and it fell out because the pieces were so large. Do better employees! It’s wasn’t even busy- so no excuse for trying to cut corners. Next time I will call you out and return my order.
