DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. I have several friends who have worked here who stated the owner 's children make comments such as I hope they have their epi-pen when making a bowl that was supposed to have no nuts. I have celiac, and I have been told they do not care and were making fun of people who cannot eat gluten and would fling granola around everywhere, not caring if it contaminated another bowl. The behavior is unacceptable, and Columbus health needs to do something about it. Every time I eat here, I get a celiac reaction. My friends who all have allergies will no longer eat here due to the behavior, not just the employee 's exhibit, but the literal children of the owner. It...
I decided to try this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, and I was really impressed! I thoroughly enjoyed the couple of times I visited, but I did start to notice some inconsistencies in the quality of the fruit and portion sizes. Inconsistency in food is one of my biggest pet peeves, which is why I haven't gone back in a while. This place was my introduction to açaí bowls, and I found them to be absolutely delightful. I just wish there was more consistency in the food, and it would be nice to not receive a sticky bowl—it's quite uncomfortable to handle!
My husband and I are both from San Diego, CA, and the atmosphere here took us back to Oceanside. We enjoyed the delicious acai bowls very much. I would have rated this place 5 stars, but I noticed that the staff seemed a bit grumpy. Wishing you all the best and much success!
