Im a former Cranford customer I currently work in Millburn, and I try to support the merchants in town. I?ve experienced unpleasant hospitality from some of the employees from this location. Today when I paid for my juice the young Hispanic ladywho barely speaks charged my account for the previous customer. Totally empathetic and in someway I felt she blamed me for hermistake.. she immediately went over to the previous customer and whole heartily apologized to her but there was no empathy formy inconvenience. She continued to prepare my order and placed it in the pick up location with no signs of empathy as she hadgiven the previous customer who may possibly received a free order on me. I as...
Update three years later: The wait for my order was way too long—15 minutes—and I was almost late for a date. I even considered asking for a refund. I've deducted two stars from my previous rating. The only reason I still come here is because the amazing Saigon Cafe no longer serves acai bowls on this route. P.S. They do offer refunds now. I won’t be coming back! Management, please speed things up!
Original review: The assembly line takes too long. By the time I get my bowl, it’s too melted to enjoy. Maybe the laid-back California vibe contributes to this, or perhaps it’s the phone orders that made me wait twenty minutes last time. I don’t think it’s worth it.
The customer service is bad. I just felt a lot of bad energy from the employees while I was there as if they didn’t want me in the store. No thank you have a good day nothing to make me want to tip them at all just a bad vibe from the moment i started to take my order. I live around here in Livingston thats not what I want to walk into from my neighborhood stores
This was my first time trying a Acai Bowl we had the Nutella, granola with coconut strawberries and pineapple instead of Bananas... It was tasty or should I say interesting ???? lol. The jury is still out!! the decor was cute had like a beach ?????vibe going.. it was dimly lit to me. But cute for the teenagers to gather and hang out!????

Milburn Playa is fantastic. The dishes are consistently delicious, and the staff is always friendly and quick with orders. I love coming here.
I hate to give reviews especially bad, but that's the second time when I order a Nutella arm and pay extra and I absolutely 0 nutella.

Friendly staff. The location was clean and well organized. My tropical açaí bowl was delicious. My wife the coconut craze bowl.
I love Playa Bowls! It?s the best place and most bang for your buck Acai bowl place in the area. I will forever be a customer.
