Ok, so the thing to remember here is you get what you paid for. I ordered the $31 surf and turf; Delmonico steak and Haddock grilled with a baked potato and cottage cheese . The steak was thin and fatty and the haddock a little fishy tasting. I gave it a 4 because our self- described waitress was absolutely wonderful. She was very honest in the descriptions (green beans are canned and the the fish is fresh- for them) and I just couldn 't tell her the fish wasn 't great when she took my plate of half eaten food away. One in our party of 4 had grilled chicken and raved about it. Another had the S&T with scallops and said they were delicious and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the grilled shrimp....
My family and myself were looking for a place to eat one Friday night. First we went to our usual place to eat. And it was very pack. So we look around and found this place on pleasant street in Claremont. So we went in. The was hopping. But our hostess found a booth for us. The service was a little slow but was the place hopping . So being patient we got our food. The food...my world the food was outstanding. The price was under a hundred for 4 of us. We will be back and try something else on the menu.
Was my first time going there to just get food for dinner. I thought the rolls were amazing. They were so airy and nothing I had ever tasted before. My son and I got pasta dishes for dinner and as for my husband he got haddock. We have made this one of our soon to be dinner date ideal places.
