Charming country pub with an unassuming exterior, but step inside and you'll instantly feel the authentic rural atmosphere. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, offering something for everyone without falling into the typical offerings found elsewhere. We enjoyed some delicious roasted vegetable arancini balls and a halloumi burger, which left us as very satisfied customers. What started as a simple late afternoon snack turned into one of the best pub meals we've ever had! Birthday celebrations for youngest son, turning 19. Staff at venue were courteous, pleasant to deal with and very accommodating for our needs. Multiple Spacious dining areas and absolutely terrific menu selection. All our party guests were impressed and satisfied with the selection. Great place for a quiet drink or a celebration of any occasion. Parking: Council parking at rear of venue, space for about 100+ cars Kid-friendliness: Good selection of children's dishes and most have a small ice-cream tub attached.
