We went with a couple of friends, a baby and a dog on a Sunny Sunday. We had just bought an ice cream in a shop close by and we were about to finish it when we sat at this place to order some other things. We were extremely surprised as the waitress told us that we had to leave immediately because it is not allowed to bring products from other shops. One of my friends, a baby and myself stood up to finish it while the others were still sitting and taking a look at the menu as the owner (apparently) came out with a horrible attitude and literally kicked us out of the place!!! The food was nice but the service was very bad. The tall blonde waitress was simply rude, the others were nice. She had a bad attitude with almost all the customers. We asked to switch tables to sit next to the window and she refused...it because we would have to put two tables together. Its not a problem if you dont want to do it, but you dont have to make faces while you are telling people no. They also made a mistake with our order and was rolling her eyes when she came to pick the food from the table. I dont know if she was having a bad day or is just in general a rude person but she ruined the experience.
We sat outside here under an umbrella on a sunny day. A very pleasant spot to have lunch. Sometimes there are street musicians. The restaurant is small and there are only a few tables outside so we were lucky to get a table. The food is not cheap but the pancakes are very good, with lots to choose from. I had one with salmon and spinach. Be warned they are very filling! The service was very friendly, It is a beautiful street in the Dutch quarter, only a short walk (or bike ride) from other interesting areas of Potsdam. Would definitely go there again.
We called in here on our day out in Potsdam for a light lunch. We both had savoury pancakes which arrived on the plate looking like pizzas! I suppose I expected something like a crepe..... They were delicious. Mine was spinach, cheese and egg - rather like a Fiorentina pizza - and I enjoyed it very much. The pancake base was light and fluffy. Our waitress was delightful. We were pleased with our choice of lunch venue having just come across it as we walked by.

nice caffe. that was my first time that dutch pancakes and they were beautiful. I had a pancake with chocolate sauce, strawberry and saw how recommended by the waitress. I found the waitress, friendly, helpful and friendly. I had only a sweet taste, but I could say that other people enjoyed the hearty. I recommend this cafe-nizza atmosphere, eat and nice inside.
We arrived about 4pm, sat outside and decided to have savory pancakes for dinner and then sweet pancakes for dessert. The menu is impressive, prices are same as London prices (£6 approx for pancake). Big portions!We enjoyed sitting outside people watching (the street is busy). My husband is Dutch and he was very impressed! And it's hard to impress him!
Had a great lunch with our large family and friends. Service was great and just happens to have room for the 9 of us to sit inside (plus our dog). Beware, seating is limited but worth waiting.
An excellent lunch of pannekoeken AND poffertjes on a sunny, September afternoon! Delicious food, and a nice change from Italian and German!!

I can't say how the food was like, but certainly it's noteworthy waiting an hour for some Dutch version of a pizza. Go elsewhere!!
