Poivre Rouge - Réservation de table

Ne vous embêtez pas avec cet endroit, pas d'ambiance le personnel n'était pas sympathique il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde donc je ne peux pas utiliser ça comme excuse, la nourriture est bonne, des hamburgers sur des petits pains briochés avec des frites ont été commandés les frites étaient congelées les petits pains n'étaient pas briochés mais nous avons eu tellement de mal à les couper avec un couteau à steak ! Une longe de morue avec des légumes frais a été commandée, le poisson était bon mais les légumes étaient horribles, les haricots verts étaient congelés et comme de la bouillie, le lit de légumes était de la bouillie mais je ne pouvais même pas décider de quel genre de bouillie il...

This was one of the worst meals I have ever been served in France. Both our meals were cold and clearly they we pre-cooked which the restaurant should be able to heat up, but managed to fail to do even this simple task.The green salad consists of a few lettuce leaves with dressing.Waiters did not understand that a green salad is more than this.The rib steak was very tough, pretty much inedible.Server was friendly, if incompetent, but when complained about the salad and cold food, the waiter was borderline rude.Restaurant was fairly busy with some locals, so maybe the standard of French cuisine has significantly declined. Probably better off with a Big Mac.

Visité alors que le restaurant ouvrait le soir à 19 heures, le personnel voulait que nous nous asseyions dans un coin sombre. J'ai demandé à m'asseoir près de la fenêtre, la serveuse n'était pas contente. J'ai commandé notre nourriture, mon partenaire avait la salade comme principal choix et elle en avait assez du saumon, j'ai eu les côtes déçues, elles n'avaient pas été cuites sur le grill mais elles avaient bon goût. Il y avait le cidre local, excellent et d'un bon rapport qualité-prix. Crème brûlée pour finir. Le repas était inférieur à 50 euros, le service était assez lent mais ils étaient très occupés.

We were quickly shown to a table. The set menu was excellent value. The starter salad option includes shell fish and large and small snail if you like those sorts of things - main course was a steak and desert was an excellent Camembert. Daley have I had a three course meal in a chain Resturant with beer that was such good value. Our waitress was particularly good. The only downside to the Resturant is the bill paying. It's a complex and long winded process and rather takes the joy out of the equation. That being said I would come again as it was such great value. Réservez une table maintenant

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Calais. After initial greeting it took ages to get a drink. The service was disjointed and sporadic to say the least. The two waiting staff and duty manager were not co ordinated in the least. Our courses arrived at different times after requesting them together and my fresh fruit salad had no fruit in it, only ice cream. My husband enjoyed the salad bar but we will not be returning to this branch as the service was too slow.

Lovely meal here the evening before taking the ferry home to the UK. Playroom for the kids gave hubby and I some well needed peace whilst we enjoyed a lovely Cotes Du Rhone. Steaks were gorgeous, tasty and cooked to perfection. Small one had kids fish and chips which was excellent quality.

This restaurant Is fantastic if you like steak, their speciality.We had two cocktails and a mixed meat platter, roast lamb and a steak, a pudding, a beer, a half bottle of wine all for €70.This as also very convenient for the nearby Premiere Classe hotel.

Driving around D-day sights and stopped at poivre-rouge for lunch. Pleasant restaurant very much like an Applebee's in the states. Reasonable prices with plenty of choices. Helpful staff spoke English and had English menu. Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant never fails to impress. The buffet included shell fish, prawns, meats and all the usual salad veg. Their burgers are great, as is their fish. Today I had a land hot pot, next time I'll try the fish.

Amazing steaks cooked to perfection. Lovely play area for little ones while you sit and wait. Excellent value at under €100 for 4 adults and a child Inc drinks and desserts.
