Today was a BAD experience. We pre-ordered for pickup. the food tasted a little off and the portions were a fraction of what they used to be. I ordered extra carrots, cream cheese, and purple cabbage in my bowl. There was a single sliver of carrot in my bowl, about 1 tbs of cabbage, and 3 small cubes of cream cheese. There were exactly 2 slices of jalapeno. And my 2 sweet eggs were completely absent. We have ordere here in the past and loved it! Which is the only reason for the 2 stars. I ordered through Grubhub. The fish was very fresh! However, the add-in options are limited compared to other poke restaurants I’ve been to. Example, they could benefit from having “crunch” options like crispy onion, crispy garlic, sesame (missing), etc. Other places offer kani (imitation crab) salad as a free option right along with seaweed salad. So overall the bowl was decent but a little bland due to lack of options (plus they forgot 2 of my add ins). Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
Ordered the grill chicken bowl bacuse i saw the pic the advertise in the plsce, nothing like the pic. It was awfull and did not have all the xtras the pic showed specially the black beans. I told the server there was no black beans snd she said, that is just a pic. That is false advertising. She did not care. Price was hight up. Not wort the food. Never again i will visit that place. Love love love this place. One of my favorite places to eat in Bel Air. I always flip flop between a sushi burrito and a poke bowl. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff is always so friendly. I visit this restaurant frequently, and it usually offers fresh and delicious food. However, they tend to be a bit stingy with the sauces. Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. The tempura shrimp had a peculiar taste that suggested it wasn't fresh. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the price per person was between $10 and $20.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I asked Daniel to make me a bowl that would have me coming back. He certainly delivered with the "spicy dragon bowl," which was fantastic! The place was clean, Daniel was wonderful, and the food was incredible! I don’t usually write reviews, but I was truly impressed!
