I 've been to this place a couple of times and been happy with the poke bowls they prepared for me. The most recent visit was for a 3 scoop of fish bowl on brown rice. What I like most is the ability to customize the bowl with sauces and toppings. And if that 's too daunting or confusing then you can ask the staff or stick to a 'recipe ' the store has. It was odd to see that they had sesame oil as a new addition for me that is the basis of a great poke bowl. I added soy beans and seaweed and masayo. Avocado would 've been nice, but didn 't fancy paying extra. Parking out front is a bit hit and miss as it is all metered parking and there isn 't always a space. Also, the min time is 1 hour on...
I ordered a regular bowl and expected at least one scoop of each protein I selected, but I was disappointed to find that it was mostly just a pile of leafy greens. I actually counted the portions and only found four very thin shrimp, four pieces of salmon, and three pieces of octopus in my bowl. I also wanted to try the spicy sauce, but all I got was a salty sauce that looked like soy sauce. I suspect they used the salty sauce instead. It seems like the restaurant is trying to cut costs on what they serve. As someone who owns a couple of restaurants myself, I believe this approach is misguided. Came for a quick lunch break last week and was craving poke. To order you fill out a piece of paper. Pricing is comparable to nearby poke places I just wish they had a 2 protein option instead of minimum 3. Portions or moderate for the price point. Staff is clean and wearing masks and the place didn't smell like fish in a bad way lol! Not bad a place to check out if you want Poke in Glendale area. I think they have crepes too??
I hesitate to say I was surprised, but I really was! The portion size was so generous that I couldn't finish my bowl. I love being able to take leftovers home for seconds later. The fish was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and I honestly regret not trying the noodles. That's definitely a standout feature, as not many places offer that. I enjoy exploring new restaurants, but I would absolutely return to this one!
So good... Partially because you design your own bowl, so you make it to your tastes. I loved it, but of course it's better if you know what you want. The spicy tuna is real! Had the entire rim of my mouth in fire, but I loved every bite. They have a new acai bowl on the menu. It's delish! My friend went back 3 days in a row. I would have too if I were in the area.
This is one of my go-to Poke spots in Glendale. The fish is always fresh, but what I appreciate most about this restaurant is how CLEAN it is. I always feel fresh when I walk in. Being able to submit my order with their menu sheet is an added plus. My order is always correct and the girls are very quick to build my bowl.
Absolutely horrible now I haven't been here in 4 years! Wow they ruined there own buisness you can't order like a human here the guy behind the counter doesn't talk or say what to do at all stay away from this place extremely rude and racist seems they don't want to help any one but there own
This is one of my favorite Poke places in LA! The ingredients are excellent, with large fresh large pieces to fish and fresh vegetables. The restaurant is really cute and service is friendly! I've been here to dine in and pick up and it's both been a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!!
