072124_I had to return to my favorite Poké joint in Madison! I walked in and I saw a nice looking bowl being made, so I said I’ll take one of that! The chef said you can have this one and gave it to me within 20 seconds of my stepping into the restaurant! Apparently, it was a phone order and nobody was there to pick it up. So, No. 9 Osaka Bowl will be featured in many happy memories of Madison and I can’t wait to go back! Really well thought out combinations of flavors, textures and proteins, as well as friendly service, makes this my favorite poké spot in Madison. They also have a small but nice selection of not-the-usual drinks.
Very small hole in the wall location. $5 and under is cash only, otherwise they take card. The sizes seem very fair for the price. It looks kind of older and a little run down. You have to seat yourself and get a little menu to fill out, then you go pay. There is no music here, you just hear the air-conditioning running. The food was filling and not fishy for Midwest sushi. They forgot one of my toppings but otherwise it was really great food. You won't leave hungry if you pick the right size. I would recommend visiting this location.
This is undoubtedly my favorite poke place in Madison. I usually opt for the large bowl that comes with three scoops of protein, and for the price, they really make sure to fill it up. Toppings like avocado are complimentary, which is a refreshing change from other poke spots that charge extra. They usually prepare your order in under a minute, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. I highly recommend it!
I really appreciate the prices and flavors at this restaurant! They consistently follow my instructions and modifications for online orders, and their customer service is outstanding. After looking for the best poke places in Madison, I can confidently say that Poke it Up is my top choice!

I enjoyed the regular ahi tuna bowl served on sushi rice salad, topped with my favorites: masago, avocado, cashews, sesame seeds, and mango sauce. It was delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere is quite simple, and I appreciated how peaceful it was.
This is my friends' and my favorite Poke spot. The portions are generous, and they offer a seaweed salad as an add-on, along with complimentary seaweed flakes. The staff is very friendly; during our last visit, they even brought us cups of water.
This is the best poke place in all of Madison! Each time we come here, the food is exceptional and extremely flavorful. The service is fantastic; the staff consistently goes above and beyond! If I could, I would give it 6 stars!
