Walking into the restaurant, there was a huge puddle in front of the main door. The restaurant placed a mat in the puddle but it was unavoidable. The team at Brio are kind and helpful. We started with the sampler bruschetta and it was excellent! The sourdough bread came out warm and was great! Our family ordered the chicken salad, pasta bolognese, pasta brio, and a steak salad. The chicken salad was okay but nothing special. The chicken came out tasting uncomfortably cold. Our kids (12 and 13) both ordered the pasta bolognese and enjoyed it. The Pasta Brio was alright. The mushrooms and peppers were prepared nicely and was the best part of the dish. However, it did take on a taste of old oil. The steak salad came out on a chilled plate, tasted great, and the steak was prepared perfectly. We did have one dirty knife among the 9 of us there. Drinks were kept full for the most part. The atmosphere was nice. Restaurant was clean. Overall, good service and a good meal.

We ordered chicken Milanese, never brought out  Parmesan we asked for until halfway through the meal.  Then they offered it to two out of four of us. The chicken was terrible. It taste like eating grizzle. Absolutely terrible. The waitstaff was unattentive. They put in the wrong order so one of the guests didn’t get her food till everyone else was done eating. I do know mistakes happen. We never got bread on the table which is what we enjoy. Definitely not a good experience.

The only disappointment was in the timing of our meal delivery. Our entrees arrived about a minute after the salads were delivered so they were pretty cold by the time we finished eating salads. Additional note, the longer tables at the booths need some work. They are stained, nicked, and scarred. Surprising for an upscale restaurant
