Poldino's - Réservation de table

Great Italian Restaurant! Took a while for them to find our booking and it was busy so a little wait was endured but we were seated eventually. I had a starter (minestrone) which was stunning, for mains we both took the lasagne and it was probably the best I have ever tasted, I would even have it again. Wine was a little pricey but it was in the Oil Capital of Europe so to be expected. Ambience good, very Italian, would we ever go back....YES

Overall the experience was disappointing, the service was slow, which is somewhat understandable as it was more or less busy. The pizza however had a very thin base which made it hard to eat, didn’t have enough cheese, that you could see the base in some spots. The pizzas weren’t super tasty and anything special and were pretty much just stomach filler rather than a delightful meal. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

POLDINOS HAS BEEN OUR FAMILIES FAVOURITE RESTAURANT FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS .WE WERE BACK THE OTHER NIGHT AND THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL AS ALWAYS. THE FAMILY RUN RESTAURANT IS A MUST GO TO IF YOU ARE VISITING ABERDEEN OR LOOKING FOR THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD. The food was kind of okay. bruschetta nice. Pizza not bad at all (hard to get wrong). The pasta Bolognese didn't taste of much. But all acceptable. It was the service that really let it down. Just couldn't get help at any point during meal. Had to ask more than once for water. At bill time eventually had to pay at desk as couldn't get help Réservez une table maintenant

We loved the food here. We passed by walking and made a reservation and were not disappointed. I had monk fish with capers (amazing) and the eggplant and cheese ravioli with sage butter sauce. Great pairing and definitely a family business that felt authentic. 5 stars!

This is a lovely restaurant, it has a very nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The food was lovely. We started with the bruschetta and the tomatoes were gorgeous, so tasty. We had the 2 ravioli dishes and they were fab. Would highly recommend

Lovely meal. Not rushed at all and delicious food served piping hot. Huge portions and great aperol spritz. Good service and overall really enjoyable. One of the few family owned and run independent restaurants in Aberdeen and well worth supporting.

On a day trip to Aberdeen we stumbled across this wonderful Italian restaurant. the food was fantastic and the staff so lovely. looking forward to another meal here next time in Aberdeen ps the carbonara was the best i have ever had, thank you Réservez une table maintenant

Very bland food and we both had the bolognaise... the beer was good tho... however the heavy handed table service could do with refinement..

Absolutely delicious all round. Could tell everything was fresh and high quality definitely recommend. We will be back.
