I arrived at the food truck around 5:02 PM and noticed the windows were closed, and the truck was about to leave. Just then, someone on the street shouted for them to stop. Fortunately, the truck came to a halt, and the server came out with my sandwiches. To my surprise, he included a regular sausage (not Italian) with peppers on a hot dog bun as a bonus. I was really hungry, so I eagerly took a bite of the small sandwich and was instantly transported back to my childhood at the ballpark. That alone was enough to satisfy my appetite!

Absolutely fantastic! I've been savoring their sausage and peppers—both the hot and sweet varieties—for many years! The Dougie crew has always been incredibly kind to us. They genuinely care about crafting quality sandwiches, knishes (which are truly hearty), and more. Everything is authentic, and it really shines through. I've been visiting this place for over 20 years because I truly love the Italian sausages from this food truck. Recently, I've noticed they've made some great improvements to their wrapping and bags. You also have the option to add sauces to your sandwich. Personally, I like mine with cooked onions and peppers, along with a bit of raw onion on the sausage. It's definitely worth the trip!

The sausage and pepper sandwiches are simply incredible! They're cooked flawlessly and served on tasty bread. The knishes are superb, too!
