Polk Restaurant And Bar

This restaurant is one of the best culinary experiences in Adelaide by far! Each dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It was difficult to pick a favorite as each one had unique flavors that truly stood out. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, striking the perfect balance between being attentive and unobtrusive. When it came time to pay the bill, I was genuinely surprised at how reasonable it was—2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 sides, a bottle of champagne, and a soft drink, all high quality, for under $120! It's been a while since I've dined somewhere and enjoyed every aspect, so I'm definitely looking forward to coming back!

We decided to visit after reading all the glowing 5-star reviews. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t match the hype. We opted for the "feed me" menu, but the noodles were overcooked and soggy, the barramundi was dry, and the sauce was excessively salty. Many of the dishes arrived lukewarm. The courses were served too quickly, with hardly any time to pause between them. Overall, it felt more like an Asian takeaway than fine dining. The price per person was A$60–80.

We had the best time. Service was so friendly and genuine. You can tell this is a great place to work. Food was so tasty, we had starts and mains, all delicious.. you must try the dim sum. Thanks to Mel and her team for making a great night. We will be back! (Only 4 for the atmosphere as a bit noisy for our old ears Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 5

It feels almost wrong to share this hidden gem! This is possibly one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in years, whether in Adelaide or Melbourne. The atmosphere and decor are fantastic, and our meals were exceptional. The staff were outstanding as well. Réservez une table maintenant

Finally managed to get to Polk! The wait was worth it. We opted for the feed me option and it was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely selection of dishes. All the food was very tasty and fresh. Service was spot on too.Highly recommended.

Came highly recommended but seriously under delivered. Food was very tasty but it took 40 minutes to get the main course. To make matters worse they served the incorrect dish ordered vegetarian and served chicken.

I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful. Brunch is consistently simple yet delicious, with just the right portions. The coffee is exceptional too!
