I worked here. And the back of house conditions were a bit gross. I remember when it was shut down by the health department. I witnessed the parasitic flies underneath a broken down machine. I've seen employees drop cups and metal tongs on the ground andput them in the active food area. The lemonade and pineapple limeade area usually has black mold if not actively cleaned. I wasdisgusted working here. A lot of sanitary issues. We had tons of puddles and had to avoid splashing. It was disgusting to workhere. At the end of the night they would drain the chicken juices from the grill and they would usually overflow. Some nights wewould step over chicken juices. And the sludge from the oil area....
The person working at the drive-thru seemed to be in a bad mood. When I asked if I could have a Tropi bowl with beans as the protein option, she insisted that protein is only meat. I explained that I was vegan, and she then told me to get all of the sides instead. I agreed, but asked for no onions. She handed me my order without making eye contact, and I had to try to get her attention for some sauce. Upon looking in the bag, I saw that my meal only included rice and beans. When she returned to the window, she argued with me about my order. I made it clear that I did not want plain rice and beans without any sauce. Drive Thur was closed so dine in was only option. It was my first time eating here so I was unsure of menu but the nice young lady at counter assisted me with my order. I ordered lemonade,now when I say this is fresh lemonade I mean it was if they got itstraight from the lemons off the tree that is how tart it was.... I absolutely loved it. The corn fritters we're very good andthe original Cuban sandwich was Perfecto, two thumbs up
The food is wonderfully cooked. The service is amazing, everytime I go I have Nate Estremera and Allen. They are the most kind, helpful, and efficient workers i’ve seen. The atmosphere is amazing, the workers always seem like they are having fun while still getting the work needed finished and on time. One of my favorite fast food places in Florida.

The Pollo Tropical in Tampa Bay is definitely the best around. The food surpasses even the offerings at most Cuban restaurants. It's always fresh and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend this spot for a delicious and quick bite to eat.
I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a grilled chicken meal for my child. The woman at the speaker and window was very friendly. The food has consistently been delicious. I really hope the shrimp and guava bars will make a comeback.
This fast food restaurant is a step up from other options in terms of health and quality. The restaurant is clean, the food is tasty, and it is served quickly. Parking is easy and there are plenty of free spots available.
I had a terrific experience. This one worker Nate was clam and composed when there was a rush, he brought out my food fresh and quick. 10/10 Must come again!!

Amazing food, great service, food is phenomenal , great workers including Nate Estremera.
The curry mustard goes well with the rice, beans, and pork/chicken.
