This restaurant is a hidden gem in Bay Ridge for Polish cuisine. We ordered the fruit compote drink, cucumber soup, pierogi, and nalesniki (rolled crepe), and everything was delicious! The cucumber soup deserves to be renamed "Sour Delightful Soup" because it was simply irresistible. It features sliced pickles, celery, carrots, and potatoes, creating an incredibly rich and creamy texture with a perfect sourness. It's a must-try for anyone who loves tangy flavors!
I visited this restaurant with a friend for dinner on September 6, 2023. A friendly, strong gentleman showed us to our table and took our orders. My friend chose the beef stroganoff, while I opted for the Polish combination. We began our meal with the house salad, which was delicious, and our main courses were quite good as well. The only downside was that we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Absolutely delicious—just wonderfully delicious! Don't overlook the gravy; they give you plenty of it! I even used some in my dinner the next day. I had the potato pancakes, which were fantastic, and the assortment of steamed dumplings, all of which were so tasty. I will definitely order again!
The pierogies are decent, but the Pyza were quite disappointing. They were meant to have a light and fluffy dough, but instead, it was gummy and heavy. The meat filling had a gamey taste, which wasn't enjoyable. On a brighter note, the sauerkraut and pickled cabbage were quite tasty. Réservez une table maintenant
