Great meal in calm area of the town. Brilliant ambiance on the boat, with good service and great food. The boat provides a brilliant setting for your meal, with a good view of the other side of the river, but there are tables on solid...earth if that is more your scene. The food was wonderful. The Spaghetti Ali oglio with prawns was delicious, with great tender pasta, prawns cooked to perfection, and a great chilli-garlic oil mix. Another tip is the fish soup with salad on the side. Great food and location, at just average prices for quality local fish. Hidden Gem.
We were tempted to eat on this ship. The remaining table was at the back of the boat and was very draughty. Service was poor ( the waiter seemed to be more interested in himself than serving the public). The soup was cold, our order was incorrect although said waiter had excellent English. When we did try to get the attention of the waiting staff, there were occupied with their own meal. Give it a wide berth.
While walking along the quay of the Ryck river we found that fish restaurant organized at an old fisherman boat. We stopped there to have a bread roll with a raw herring. It was something marvellous: a big bread roll filled with a raw herring seasoned with a chopped onion plus ... a pint of a cold beer. Delicious!
We walked up and the place was packed hint: book in advance. We were offered seating on tables on the quay, which was OK, but cold. Annoyingly, all the subsequent walk up trade seemed to be found seats inside. However, fish was superb. It was...a delightful meal.

Our waiter was unfriendly and didn´t seem to care about us.The food was good,but from our spot we could see that some other people didn´t get the food they had ordered and when complaining,the waitress responded undiscerning and didn´t apologize.
Excellent and different. On a dull July evening we took refuge in this rather lovely old boat-restaurant, gently bobbing on the water as we tucked into delicious seafood soup and beautifully cooked fish main courses. Very friendly staff.
