Pompano Joe's Seafood House

Server was great! Food not so much- we got an appetizer sampler and then went somewhere else. Reggae rolls had no flavor, tasted like boiled chicken with canned veggies inside. Mozzarella sticks were standard. The tuna dip wasn't a dip, it was a cold tuna salad served with pita- it was okay but not a hot dip. We were seated near the service area and could smell the floor mats. The whole place didn't have a pleasant smell upon entering, kind of stale and sour. Tourist trap definitely!

We stopped for lunch during off season around noon. Beautiful interior, lots of charming decorations with a nautical theme. Service was prompt but a different order was brought for my husband than the one he ordered. He ordered a sandwich and he got a full dinner plate. We were too hungry to send it back and the seafood was very fresh indeed. Hush puppies, coleslaw and tartare sauce were very delicious.

Mid would be an overstatement. Coconut shrimp $35 no coconut in them, French fries soggy, and cold street corn. The reggae rolls were nothing special, couldn't taste the jalapeño at all and they were basically on a soft tortilla. Tourist trap at its best save your money and try something else. Service was okay food was well below average!

Wasn 't too bad! The waiter was attentive and friendly. Food was good. I really liked their special sauce . Seemed a little pricey but that may just be me. The wait for our food wasn 't too long either, but business was rather slow already. I would be willing to come back provided I had the opportunity.

Mediocre seafood for the cost. Felt like we were eating at a Joe's Crab Shack or something. Would have been better going across street to eat on pier at Hook'd.
