This restaurant deserves a decent 4-star rating. The service was satisfactory, although I requested hot water but did not receive it. The food was flavorful but lacked creativity; I was hoping for some grilled vegetables on the plate, but all I got was a lot of meat and two small leaves of lettuce drizzled in oil. Take a look for yourself. Additionally, we waited longer than usual for our food, and just 2 minutes before the main course arrived, we were asked if we wanted bread. I did not come here to see the sights...
The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding. I recently had a party and ordered some items from here, and they were a huge hit. There was nothing left over, which was disappointing for me because I was looking forward to enjoying the leftovers. I will definitely be ordering from this place again and again.
While there are no waitstaff and paper is used instead of traditional plates, the incredible food more than makes up for it! This is, without a doubt, some of the best Greek cuisine I've enjoyed in a long time. I can't wait to return and share the experience with more friends.
This restaurant is a great spot for Greek cuisine. The gyro had delicious meat that was cooked perfectly. The service was top-notch and the ambiance had dim lighting. They also had a bathroom available and street parking was easy to find.

The dining experience at Pontos Taverna is outstanding! My wife chose the beeftekia plate, while I opted for the gyro plate. The meat was exceptionally tender and seasoned to perfection. It was truly delicious!
