The atmosphere is charming and inviting. The food is outstanding—I had the brisket and pulled chicken, and both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Mike Jr. is a great guy, providing service with a genuine smile and engaging conversation. He recently took over the establishment full-time after his father, Mike, passed away, and it's clear he’s following in his father's footsteps because the food is excellent. Keep Mike's spirit alive and do yourself a favor—dine at this fantastic restaurant!
I went there last night and tried the smoked ribs, delicious mac and cheese, and some fantastic drinks. Everything was delightful! The chef even cut the ribs for us and generously provided extra sauce, though the ribs are so flavorful that they really don't need it. It made for a wonderful meal! I'm so glad we have this place in the city!
Had the pulled pork lunch special. Came with 2 sides for $7.99. It was a pretty sandwich, but the slap ya momma potato and mac n cheese were very good. We will definitely come back. I would recommend getting food to go. Only a couple tiny tables inside.
the man in the load was very nice. the food was scary. I was pulled pork that was delicious and had a good help from meat. my man got the bark breeze, it was tender and very juice. will regain relentlessly.

Excellent Food..1lb meat tray..a variety of different meats..pulled pork..ham turkey with that delicious Smoke flavor.. those Spivey. potatoes...Mmmm..Good!
The food is consistently excellent; I've never had a disappointing experience with anything from this restaurant.
This place is amazing. Great BBQ, the service is of course the best. Go for the ribs, but call ahead.
