Try the house special -- a veggie burger and glass of wine for $10! great coffee too! Then shop to your heart's content with some of Nepal's finest import wares, locally crafted art, pottery, hand-turned bowls and more. Check out an impressive collection of used books, magazines, even vinyl. Murray and Lei Anne and staff throw in some of the best hospitality around with the occasional outdoor concert to boot! Don 't pass this one up!!

As cottagers in the Onanole/Wasagaming area, we always enjoy stopping by Poor Michaels for coffee, wine, snacks, a good book and the feel good atmosphere. Owners/staff are very welcoming and genuine and the house concerts are a nice added touch; a 'Friendly Manitoba' gem!

This place is great for freshly ground coffees. Also, one of the best bookstores in the province with knowledgeable staff. Summer weekend evenings there is sometime entertainment. Must place to visit when driving through to Riding Mountain National Park.

As well as having many thousands of paperbacks of many genres, this place also has odd souvenirs (many of them from India), and an excellent cafe. It's hard to know who the clientele might be, but they are lucky to have a funky little gem like this

This is really not a Restaraunt , it is one of the most unique coffee, Book and craft shop in the province. Truly worth the visit , " a must", if you happen to be up in the Clear Lake area in the spring, summer or fall.

Poor Michael's is a wonderful place, much more than a used book store. Many interesting craft items, both local & Asian import. The coffee is superb! Réservez une table maintenant
