I've been a strong supporter and customer of Pop Top since day 1 as a shop. They care about the quality and appearance of both the drinks and the shop they run. I miss my small town coffee shop so much. I haven't been able to find a coffee shop yet that can compare to Pop Top's great drink selection, atmosphere, service, and dedication to love and shop local. Their ice blended's are by far the most unique item that sets them apart from anywhere else (and probably the main reason why I miss the shop so dearly to be honest). So if you're looking for a great local, family friendly, best-coffee-around shop in Ennis; then spend your time in Pop Top Coffee.
Pop Top Coffee Shop has quickly become my favorite spot! I enjoy spending time here, thanks to their delicious coffee and treats. I tried the Iced Mocha Latte along with a delightful yellow cupcake topped with chocolate frosting. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the staff is friendly. With its convenient seating and a cozy library nook filled with books to browse, it's the perfect place to drop by and unwind. The decor and ambiance are lovely! I absolutely love it! (And the free Wi-Fi is a fantastic bonus!)
My wife ordered a Seltzer coffee, and I opted for a cold latte, with both of us adding coconut flavors. Both drinks were incredibly delicious, and the coffee here is excellent. However, the staff was a bit off-putting; I wasn't thrilled about the guys having loud conversations in such a small, quiet coffee shop. Their chatter drowned out the soft background music, which was really disappointing.
Awesome coffee with awesome service for an awesome price, not to mention their home-brewed tea, cream sodas, cafe seltzers, and innovative monthly specials. Pop Top also uses locally produced Buna Bean coffee manufactured right here in Ennis, so it's really nice to see local business supporting each other. Their hours are pretty great, too. I'm not a coffee person so I never know what to order. I told the barista I wanted something rich creamy. She suggested a breve. I added caramel and that was EXACTLY what I was asking for. Now I know what to order next time : AND there is a different display by a local artist every month on one of the walls!
