Popeyes has great chicken. Thanks! But, there needs to be some focus on customer service. I won't go into details of past experiences because this review is based on my most recent experience. This particular time, I was ordering food at the drive-thru. Ordering my food went fine. As I was waiting at the window, the guy bringing my food, walks the bag over, never makes eye contact, never looks at me, doesn't say a word to me. Not a thank you, not a have a good day, just completely ignoring that someone was there, he just walked away, I couldn't ask any questions (maybe I wanted some sauce). Maybe it sounds petty to give a 3-star review based on that, but I find it very rude when staff can't take a second to acknowledge their customers. Popeyes has a lot going for it in terms of food, and that's why people keep coming back, but the service was bad on this trip, and has been historically bad as well.
My wife and I went through drive-thru. The man taking the orders was impatient and didn't not get my order correct. I ordered three piece chicken combo for my sister and she received three chicken tenders. Our order never appeared on the screen, nor did rhe man taken our order repeat it back. We had to wait over fifteen minutes for our two orders of twelve piece sweet and spicy wings with no apology from the lady who brought our order out to us.
Food is always so so good! Never once had a bad dish or piece of chicken.The orders are also ALWAYS wrong. Legit. Every time. I was commenting to my spouse the last time we went that I was going to go in and pick up so I could check the order. Because it's ALWAYS wrong. (It was).I still go back religiously though as I've just accepted I always need to check the order and I loooove their food!
