I went to Popeye 's in pleasantville last night was so surprised by how awful customer service was through the drive thru. I waited for my chicken tender combo for 23mins. They were laughing fooling around while the parking lot was full of drive thru cars waiting on their orders. It was terrible but the worse thing was finally getting my food getting home only to realize they gave me the wrong order. I paid almost $30 for a 23 minute wait the wrong order. I just ate what was in the bag at least it was good. They need a new crew including new management. I used to believe that the pleasantville place was way better than A.C. 's but they both suck with customer service. What a shame. ?
Dine-in Pleasantville NJ store, Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, 4:45 p.m. Multiple problems. One of the worst Men's Room conditions I've ever seen, as shown in the 2 photos. Coca-Cola machine dispensed flat, room temperature beverage, and ice was not functional. The spicy blackened chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes were fine. Staff seemed to be working hard, and were polite, but could use some communication and service training. I overheard one of them mention that they were running on ⅔ the normal staffing level. Popeyes A.I. customer support bot was having technical difficulties, so I couldn't give them the feedback about my experience.
We placed a mobile order and when we arrived, they were out of fries. We asked for mac and cheese instead, but they told us to wait in the parking lot. After waiting for an hour, we started to worry that they had forgotten about us while they were inside, seemingly laughing and dancing around.
The drive-thru associate seemed to be having a rough day. She didn’t greet me or any of the other customers and didn't ask if we wanted mild or spicy options. While she wasn't outright rude, her lack of friendliness made the experience feel a bit impolite.

The food was good, but the service was not friendly. I waited too long at the drive-thru and never received a total after placing my order. I love the chicken from Popeyes, but the service left much to be desired.
They are disrespectful. They was in there arguing with each other 12/17/2023. No chicken sandwiches, 7 to 10 minute wait for tenders. Funky bad attitudes. I will never eat there.
