I've been traveling to DC for work lately, and I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine—like Bibimbap, breakfast sandwiches, noodle bowls, dumplings, burritos, or any type of street food—you absolutely have to check it out. They serve breakfast until about 10:30 AM, offering a delightful variety of options such as waffle sandwiches, croissant sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, and more. As someone from Jersey who enjoys a BEC on a Kaiser roll, I can say that Poppa takes the BEC to a whole new level. They have a special deal for two bulgogi (Korean barbecue beef) egg and cheese sandwiches with fries for around $10, but most dishes are priced around $8. Sharing...

Great value, especially considering the area! Our experience was quite memorable. We ordered a poppabox with teriyaki chicken, and I have to say, the chicken was incredibly moist, reminiscent of what you'd get at mall food courts. The portion size for both the rice and chicken was generous, making it easy to share between two people. The box also included a roll of sushi, one piece of tempura shrimp, two pieces of tempura sweet potatoes, and a fruit medley. Overall, you can't beat the price for the amount of food you receive. While I would compare the quality and taste to that of a mall food court, that's not a negative. There are plenty of times when that's exactly what you crave!
Nice place to sit back and eat a good meal. They have an assortment of different boxes to try (I got the beef bulgogi) that comes with rice, California rolls, and mixed tempura. I've seen a lot of people posting about their boba, but when I asked the server, she didn't know what I was talking about. Maybe they no longer serve it? A little pricey as my box was $15, but its so much food that it's worth it- you could easily make 2 meals out of one order. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area again!
I stopped by for a late lunch and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. I ordered a bulgogi noodle box for around $12, and it was served quickly and hot. The flavor was excellent, with a nice kick of spice, and there was plenty of tender beef. Plus, I got a generous portion of noodles! Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely return to try something else with confidence. Réservez une table maintenant
I ordered the Teppanyaki Style Bowl with Spicy Pork, and the portion was quite generous. I opted for fried rice instead of white rice, but I think the white rice may have complemented the strong flavor better. Overall, the taste was good. The total was $12, which I believe makes it one of the more affordable options in the area.
I really enjoy the Teppanyaki with chicken, and I used to love the ramen bowl as well, but I think they stopped serving the ramen for a while. I'm excited to see that it's back on the menu and can't wait to try it again!
A simple shop with great food! The atmosphere is made for a quick stop in and most people that came in while I was there took their food to go. Great service at the counter and tasty beef bugogli!
The bibimbap and bulgogi dishes are great. The wraps are always satisfying with half left over for dinner. It's like being in Seoul on a Saturday night again. Réservez une table maintenant
Great foods include bibimbap and bulgogi. With half leftover for dinner, the wraps are consistently filling.
I ordered the noodle bowl and the beef sandwich. Both were fantastic, served hot and fresh.
