We dined in at Carmines Restaurant, The food and service was excellent, we had twelve people at our table and the food all came out at the same time, it was amazing. Italian is generally so overrated in my opinion, but I can honestly say, this is the best Italian I have ever had, so much so, we went back the following week to the takeaway pizza bar and was blown away with the quality of the pizza. Old fashioned Pizza with beautiful fresh ingredients and the base was amazing too. Thanks Carmines, we will be regulars from now on.
First time checking it out and i was impressed! My husband and i ordered the chicken burger and the pork belly and we weren't disappointed absolutely delicious! Great serving sizes too. I think prices were great for the quality of food. The bar/table staff (and bottle shop staff) were very friendly and welcoming making space for us as it was busy being Saturday night. Good selection of drinks a bit different to the usual. We will be back for sure!
I visited this restaurant for lunch and tried the chicken burger. It was truly one of the best burgers I've ever had! I'm not sure what seasoning is used on the fries, but they're incredible. The beer selection is excellent too; they had Pirate Life on tap, which is one of my favorites. I sat inside near the bar, but there’s also a lot of dining space in the beer garden and out front. I can’t wait to come back!
After arriving into Port Adelaide late Thursday evening the team at Quest recommended Carmines Port Pizza Bar. We were not disappointed at all from the fantastic customer service with and smile and friendly attitude ... to getting back to the apartment after a long day travelling to enjoy the fantastic pizza's and garlic bread made by the team at Port Pizza Bar. I don't normally order pizza at restaurants, but I was glad I did! We dined next door and my partner had an amazing pasta and I had one of the best pizzas I've ever had . The service was next level, so friendly and helpful. This was a case of the food and service out weighing the prices. Have been 3 times now, would be very surprised if someone had a bad experience here
Pizza is generally pretty good, have never had a bad one so no complaints. Dont get the bad reviews. Sometimes they can be really slow with delivery but Id say its because they are super busy. If you want Pizza at 630 on a sunday, order at 5pm, if you order at 630 its going to be a really long wait. Or better yet drive there and pick it up, its much faster.
This place has a beautiful bar, and the food is absolutely delicious! They offer great beer and have an excellent bottle shop. The bar staff is friendly and offers high fives, and let's not forget the BAD BOY BUBBLY. What’s not to love? Finally, a local spot that’s truly worth visiting.
