This is the most beautiful location on the lake.We stayed here on our way to our campsite.The room was fabulous in every way. The breakfast was beautiful and the staff soooo nice. We returned at the end of our holiday for dinner and sat out in the courtyard the flower canopy above us was spectacular. Some local people dining in the restaurant were kind enough to give us a lift home in their car to our campsite. We are definitely going back there this summer. Fabulous in every single way including the price. Wonderful in fact!
I strongly do not recommend this restaurant for these two reasons:A man, who might be the owner omitted to say hello and refused us to park the car on his area cause we came only for a drink, and he was waiting for "real customers" paying for an expensive dinner instead. Once we parked the car somewhere else, a woman, his wife I suppose, refused to serve us because "don't you see I am eating" she said.
Too bad we were not able to get a room at this romantic looking hotel but we had a chance to try their restaurant. Run by an old family, le Port et Lac offers a good variety of fresh seafood with their specialty " les poissons du Lac ". The service was attentive but stressful because it was busy on a beautiful and sunny day when everyone was out looking for warmth and good food.
Worst restaurant ever saw in my life. First they said that they just had fish to eat the most expensive dish that they have. And we said ok. Then when the fish came was bad and one of us said that the fish had a hair on it. They said it's not a hair in a rude way!!All the staff was way to rude for even a restaurant!
