Overall I think it could have been much better. We love the location with the garden and the lovely old building. The service was friendly, but we had to wait for 30 minutes to get a bottle of water and could order our food. A...couple that arrived at the same time already got the first plate and had the second glass of wine while we had to wait to get something to drink perhaps with kids you are not on the priority list? we are yearly visitors in this area of catalunya and try to treat ourselves to a meal in this restaurant every time we visit. the tasting menu and the rice menus offer the opportunity to try out some quality, locally produced products, but experiment with something. from the chef and his team, which leads to some wonderful aromas. we followed the journey of chef joan carles as we eat in his tapas bar (can falet) near l’estartit and continue to enjoy his kitchen. we are looking forward to visiting the next year!
That was our second time here, the other time two years ago. this time they were six of us and the experience was just as good as the last time. We decided to eat in this house a glass-side extension on the back of the main building. eating is ceratiw and excellent. the service is impeccable and the whole experience is totally relaxing and pleasant.
