Porters Coffee Shop And B&b

I had a short break with my sister and stayed for a couple of nights. The B B, restaurants in the area were all wonderful. The hosts at the B B were superb and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The breakfast was really delicious with fresh fruits, granola and croissants and pastries. The garden terrace is lovely at the side of the cafe. Rooms: The room had good facilities, toiletries, nice views and is comfortable. It was nice eating breakfast outside on the garden terrace. Nearby activities: Helmsley has enough quirky shops to explore over a day or two Walkability: There are many things within walking distance the walled garden, the castle and Helmsley outdoor pool. Food drinks: There are some good restaurants in the area which we booked in advance. The Bantram and the Trattoria did good food. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view

Nicely set out, but food covering needs improvement. There was a blow fly running all over uncovered baked items. Less than attentive counter service. Didn't buy anything cold to eat. Service: 3 Location: 4

its excellant,a little gem in the market town of helmsley.we love the gillato they make and coffee is wonderful,and you always get a warm up over fire in winter. Service: 5
