The onion rings are probably my favorite of any place, as the batter is crunchy yet light, and it doesn't overpower the onions. I really enjoy the restaurant's decor, which features charming vintage items and unique wall art. This was my first time dining inside the restaurant, and I brought my son here as a special treat after he finished second grade. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome. They even seemed to recognize the significance of our special moment, and the manager kindly offered my son a piece of chocolate cake. This experience has completely restored my faith in dining out. The portion sizes were just right—generous but not overwhelming. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is that the bathrooms and dining room tables could use a bit more attention. I chose not to use the restroom aside from washing my hands, but thankfully, a friendly dining area attendant was available and offered to help us with anything we needed, even wiping down a table for us.

The atmosphere, service, and food exceeded my expectations for a hot dog restaurant. My wife completely loved the coney dog—after all, a hot dog is just a hot dog, unless it's from Portillo's. Today, I tried the Italian beef sandwich and the Greek salad for the first time, and both were outstanding; I would certainly order them again. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming, with a fantastic variety of menu options.
We received our food quickly, and the restaurant was clean with a charming old-school atmosphere. The staff was excellent! The kids enjoyed their chicken fingers, cheeseburger, and fries. The hot dogs were tasty as well. If you're not a fan of vegetables, just a heads up that the hot dogs come with a large tomato slice and a unique-looking relish. Overall, we were very impressed.
Maxwell street polish is my favorite menu item. Hubs likes the hotdogs and onion rings. We're always tempted by the cake and when we do give in, it is tasty! The wait for food seems long. All the ice in my tea was melted by the time we got our food. Not sure if they just didn't put enough ice in it to start or went that was.
The service was okay, and the food was better than I thought it would be. The Chicago dog was great, and the onion rings and cheese fries were very good. The star was the chocolate cake shake, and the strawberry lemon cake shake was really tasty.

A genuine taste of Chicago! The food and atmosphere truly capture the essence of the city. Located in a vibrant neighborhood, this restaurant is an excellent option for dining. I always look forward to my visits!
This was tasty food and good service. Not cheap for fast food but tasty. The big Italian was great burgers were tasty too.
