This small restaurant was very close to our hotel so we went there a couple of times. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very down to earth. I took the ‘entrecot’ on our first visit and I swear it must have been at least 500g, for 12.50 euros... in the UK I would have paid at least 50£ for the same cut of meat. It is incredible that such a price difference exists. It was very tasty but I couldn’t finish it so they I took the rest home! The avocado and tomato salad tasted amazing. We also had paella and scrambled eggs which were very good. If you go there, make sure that you remember that dishes are meant to be shared, otherwise you might not be able to finish, and it’s a shame to waste food!

My wife and I had an early dinner here and chose only two dishes to share, Iberian Ham and Grilled Wreckfish. We agreed that both dishes were outstanding and together with some local wine made for a wonderful meal. Although a very important Spanish football match was taking place on a nearby TV the service was pleasant and attentive. I can’t say anything about the other dishes on the menu but these two were expensive and worth every Euro!

Stopped there for lunch (in the tapas section of the restaurant) and wow, giant portions and tiny price! You get a couple of choices for starter and main, plus dessert we tried a bean stew, vegetable soup, cod cakes and schnitzel, plus arroz con leche for dessert. All very tasty and huge portions simple food done well. And for just 7 euros! Definitely recommended if hungry and on a budget. Place is great too, service really quick.

Great menu del dia ! for as little as 8 euro you will get a splendid typical local menu (not fixed: you can choose among 2-3 choices). Nice traditional location. Kind and efficient staff. Price really cheap (for the menu del dia). Don't be surprised if the restaurant is full of local customers (better go early)
