Porto's Bakery And Cafe

This is one busy cafe and restaurant. This iconic Cuban Cafe and bakery is known to be busy all the time. There are two stations to order your food and drinks. One area is strictly for ordering their famous cakes, pie and pastries. Once you order you drink there is a drink bar where you can pick up your drink. I ordered a chicken Cesar salad that was loaded with leafy green lettuce and kale LOADED with chicken. The strawberry mango mojito mint drink was perfect for the first hot day of summer. There is dining inside and outside. Parking is paid parking at one of the meters or parking lot. Parking: Meter paid parking or a parking lot

The food is pretty good. The customer service is bad. The service team doesn't smile, there is not a clear order of the line when you're not ordering desserts, and how things go. The lady told me I didn't need to be in line if I wasn't ordering desserts. When I went to the register they told me I needed to wait until he cashed out the people who ordered desserts. It made me feel some type of way. I would ask that you retrain your staff keeping customer service in mind.

I just placed an order online and my sister waited one hour and they refused to give her the order unless she showed the credit card!!! But it was a virtual card by Apple credit and don’t have a number!! Then they asked for a picture ID!! This is so ridiculous! It’s all our fault for shopping at these places who think they’re GOD! I rather spend my money where we are treated with respect and kindness.

I have been visiting the Glendale location more often. Always great service, great food. Almost always get the potato balls. Also love the apple strudel among other treats. Still haven't tried the ? cake, but I will soon. There's always free, safe 90min. parking at parking structure. Thank you all at Porto's. Réservez une table maintenant

If you are in the area, definitely make your way here! Everything is fantastic got their potatoball, coupleofsandwiches, pastries and drinks! Doesn't matter if it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, it's worth the trip!

Their famous name and reputation is really follows by their quality,service and price! It is a must visit bakery when you're in LA. Will come back again.

Got a $48 parking ticket. When did the parking lot in back start being for pay. I won't be going back.
