Ok, where do I start? Being one of the fussiest pains in the butt when it comes to food, I am always extremely worried about what is going to appear before me in a restaurant. So we are here for lunch. The restaurant is very pleasant looking as we walk in. We are quickly shown to a table. Our waitress, Samara, takes our drink orders and leaves us to read the menu for a few minutes. We ordered our lunch. The good thing about this venue is that the service is great, staff were very attentive and responsive to your needs. However, we found the food to be very disappointing and certainly, the standard has declined since we were last at this venue. I had the Nasi Goreng with chicken - surprisingly, the chicken was in the form of a quarter chicken on the side, not cooked through the rice - the rice itself was over spicy and not very appetising to the extent that I ended up leaving a good portion of it. The best town on the Amalfi Coast is romantic Positano!!! We battled tourists elsewhere else then realised if we got the early or later ferries we had the place to ourselves! Positano is really classy, clean and well maintained with a plethora of flowers in pots everywhere. The shops and galleries are not your usual tourist junk once you walk a little higher. Some of it is hand made in the area. I bought a stunning original design linen top for 75E. I will treasure it as a memento of our romantic sojourn there, say no more. Who can put a price on those memories? Well with a visit.
went here using entertainment book voucher. the food was good without being special. the bruschetta was more like pizza (but still delicious). my wife absolutely adored the lamb shanks that were a very generous helping that she struggled to finish. the eye fillet was nice but not the best I've had. all in all it was yummy and would return. This place is where I really love. Usually visit once a month. However, the food yesterday is not good as previously. I am not sure it's because there were a full house, so the chef is not rushing, or hopefully they didn't change chef.Because of my love, will give it another try. Finger crossed.
Food is nice and service is fine but so not worry the prices for a family outing. Kids menu is too exp. $6 for an apple juice is ridiculous. We only ever go with entertainment voucher and even then still too expensive. No value for money in my opinion. I would go as a couple with a voucher only.
