I love this place. I have always enjoyed going for a good cup of tea and the food is great too. The atmosphere is always relaxing and friendly. So I was so excited to learn that they host events when I needed to plan my baby shower. The Haley room is beautiful! Ashley was our event coordinator and she was the best! She was so easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and so accommodating. I appreciate her so much. Ultimately, this location is a prize jewel for Alton.

Post commons is an old post office building, it is spacious. When it's busy it doesn't seem too loud, perfect cafe sound without being overwhelmed for me. The service was great, they were patient while I picked out what I wanted. Drinks and food was delicious!

The quality of the food has since gone down since it's been opened. The price of the food does not match the quality or quantity of it. Every table was dirty, so I had to clean one myself.
