Potarch Hotel, Cafe and Restaurant a great place to stop and enjoy the night, a nice meal, great customer service, beautiful sightseeings and the tranquility of the place. In summer time or fall, you, your family and friends can enjoy the place by parking your car at one of the parking places available on site, having a BBQ by using one of the ready BBQ grills provided on site, kicking a ball across the field without being nagged by anyone, sunbathing on a blanket, reading a book while sitting on one of the benches located around the field across the Potarch Hotel, Cafe and Restaurant, having a walk in the woods or a long stroll along the river that runs just at the back of the restaurant. There is a path across the road from the restaurant that takes you down to the river, canoeing is very popular here and the deepness of the river just for a few feet downstream of the bridge appeals to deep your feet in the water or even to have a short splash in the river (although the bottom of the water can be seen, I wouldn't recommend you to venture on your own unless more than two adults are on scene; you better cool down by pouring a bottle of cold water on your head as it's safer. The river is as clear as a glass and there is an invigorating freshness of the air combined with a nice aroma from the wild flowers.

Wow. Not been here since it was under new management by the Nichols. And what a wonderful, friendly, cafe it is with superb food coming out of the kitchen. My wife had the posh homemade fish finger butty and I had the pulled pork with dauphinoise potatoes and a perfectly poached egg on top. Proper home baked cheesecake and coffee followed before we waddled off! Definitely our new go to place. Highly recommended.

Everything was delicious the huge squishy French toast with berries and pistachio was perfect while the less sweet toothed amongst us loved the shakshuka. I could have eaten absolutely everything on the menu
