4.5 stars overall. Leaning towards 5 since there are few hotpot places on LI. For me 5 stars! Because not all hot pot places have juicy beef balls, which is like a dumpling made of beef ???? Portions are decent for the price. Dad really liked theshrimp. Shared beef and pork belly. Would be nice to see a leaner short rib cut. Sauce selection is good, with lots of options.Still would like to see hoisin sauce though. Herbal broth is solid. I added bbq and chili sauce to taste. What kept me from 5stars is the beef and pork quality. It's VERY good, but 5 stars good? Needs a tiny bit more.
I absolutely love this restaurant! My whole family feels the same way. We dine here frequently and have visited many restaurants, but this one ranks in our top 10. The hot pot here is by far the best I've had compared to any other hot pot places in Flushing. The food is fresh and delicious, the ambiance is wonderful (kudos to whoever designed and decorated this place, they are incredibly talented), and the staff is amazing—very friendly and welcoming.

4.5 stars Nice/vintage/unique decor; the booth seats just needed a bit more lighting. The lunch special mini hotspot was a fair deal. The herbal broth was great and tasted very homemade with all the herbal ingredients. The ma la tang was deliciousas well. A bit different from the flushing ones.
The food is tasty, but it is certainly too expensive. I would only think about coming back if I had a strong desire for it or if the portion sizes matched the prices better—either by lowering the cost or by increasing the value to make it worthwhile.
