Service Horrible. (food is good) Placed an order for pick up. Got home noticed my order was incorrect. Contacted the restaurant to let them know that I didn 't my I ordered, instead got something else.. Spoke to a lady that refuse to give me her name. just stated that she was in charge. ??? ok.. When I told her I didn 't get what I ordered. she requested that I return the food . I advised her I was at home and that I could take picture to provide her proof that my order was incorrect.. The restaurant is decent, but if you're really hungry or seeking exceptional flavors, this isn't the place for you. I arrived to find the restaurant nearly empty, which seemed fitting for such a small establishment. It took about 3-5 minutes to receive the menus, and as soon as I got them, the server immediately asked for drink orders— I barely had a chance to even glance at the menu. They served chips and salsa along with a small bowl of black beans, but even that tasted off. Overall, the food was rather bland and didn't impress me. I don't understand why she couldn’t simply handle this as I've worked in a restaurant before, and it’s usually possible to fix such issues, especially if you just talk to the kitchen staff. I told her that she couldn't force me to pay for something I didn't want, so I decided to cancel my order entirely. It seems I'll have to wait to see how she resolves the cancellation now. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this restaurant. The pozole was mediocre, but the consistently poor customer service is what really puts me off.

I came across some great reviews for this restaurant, and as someone who recently moved to the neighborhood from Chicago, I was a bit anxious about finding good pozole. Let me assure you, the pozole here is fantastic! I've eaten here several times and frequently order it for takeout. Also, heads up: there’s a GROUPON available for this place, and I definitely make the most of it—it's a fantastic deal. I highly recommend giving this place a try; the prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is clean.
Best pozole around, I've been searching all over Chicago for my grandma's mexican style dish and I finally found it! Not only was the pozole amazing but the tacos, tamales, and everything else I tried was delicious. It has that homestyle taste that is hard to duplicate and it's not super spicy so you can enjoy it without burning your mouth. I highly recommend this establishment, you won't be disappointed with anything on the menu, trust me I'm a very harsh critic.
Pozoleria Amiguitas offers generously large portions of delicious food. The interior is small but provides a comfortable atmosphere while you wait for your meal. Be ready to spend over an hour dining here, as everything is made fresh. This is a family-run restaurant. There were no prices on the menu, so I'm not sure of the total, but I spent $43 on pozole, tostadas, quesadillas, and guacamole.
I had the best pozole I've had in a while at this suburban restaurant! It felt like it was missing something, so I can only give it 4 stars. I tried the pozole blanco along with the picaditas and tacos de canasta! Everything was fantastic, and the service was excellent!

This is the best pozole I've ever tasted! It features generous pieces of pork in a magnificent stew, accompanied by all the delicious toppings. Everything I've sampled here has been fantastic. The queso birria is also excellent!
