it's a nice place to be, but the road on the muotathal side is rather sketchy. very narrow and steep, and many drivers are not very careful. if you go by bike, definitively try to go up the glarus side and down the muotathal side. also, try to go on a weekend when the glarus side is closed for cars between richisau and the pass.
Fair prices, beautiful landscape and delicious food. I recommend the elliptical magrons. Payments should preferably be made by cash, but Twint is also possible. Many parking spaces are available. Cycling of Schwyz is hard, but on weekends it is quite quiet, as cars and bicycles cannot go to the other side.
Really excellent for kids: amazing playground pigs& cows. Food the heavy Swiss variety (no veg). Service extremely friendly. Views superb. In sum you go for a lovely family stop but not for the food if salty pork in many forms isn’t your thing.
If the weather is beautiful, this is an absolute bliss of a motorcycle ride. Try not by car, very narrow roads Réservez une table maintenant
