I have mixed feelings about this golf course review. On the positive side, the layout is exceptional. The course is beautifully designed and truly stands out as one of the best in the area—Harborside may be the only comparable option. However, there are considerable drawbacks. The restrictions on where you can ride are overly strict. There are times when you're required to go onto the cart path as far as 100 to 125 yards from the green. While I understand the necessity of restrictions within 50 yards of the green, extending it to 100 yards feels excessive. The staff at the clubhouse restaurant were very friendly. Although I didn't know the gentleman, he was attentive and even started a conversation. The food was excellent—I had the pulled pork panini, which was absolutely delicious. The salad was also very good. We were a group of eight, and our orders arrived promptly. Overall, it was a perfect experience. I highly recommend Prairie Landing Golf Club for a working lunch in West Chicago.
I attended a baby shower at Prairie Landing Golf Club on Sunday and had a fantastic experience. The room was lovely, and the staff were exceptional! The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was delightful. I had also visited for a Mother’s Day brunch before and was equally impressed. You truly can’t go wrong choosing this place. The golf course is challenging but fun!
This is a fantastic golf course for thoughtful golfers. Playing here presents a great challenge, offering a fair test for a variety of shots. The greens could be smoother, but considering it's August and the course has hosted many players throughout the season, that's understandable. I’ll definitely be returning frequently.

The course has a different character every time I play there. The wind is always a factor, especially on the greens. I don't understand the complaint about the greens; they are well-maintained, particularly considering how many rounds they have to accommodate. This course is designed for serious golfers, not beginners.
The course is beautiful and offers a rewarding challenge. Each hole tests your abilities, making every shot count, but it’s a well-balanced challenge. I’m excited to play there again!
The course is in superb condition. The greens are quick and consistent. The staff is fantastic, and the facilities are great. This is a must-visit for any golfer!
A five-hour round of golf is unacceptable. We didn't see a single ranger on the course after we made it to the seventh hole.
